Alien AI Audiobook by JFK Løvlien — The Feeder Series Book 2

Bought this on a Friday night and finished it by Sunday. The narration is engaging — JFK has this deep, steady voice that draws you in and doesn't let go. He reads it like he's telling you the story in person over a drink, which I reckon is the best kind of audiobook. The whole BookFunnel thing was new to me but it was easy — paid, got the link, opened it in the app, done. No drama. The story itself is mental in the best way. Marion Martin's journey from normal girl to alien-human hybrid with superpowers is one hell of a ride.

First time through I was just hooked on the plot — Marion, the aliens, Area 51, the Greek lighthouse portal. Second time through I paid more attention to the narration itself and it's really good. JFK has this cool, measured tone that suddenly shifts when things get dangerous. You feel the change before you even process what's happening in the story. It's like your pulse follows his voice. Downloaded it straight to my phone through BookFunnel, worked perfectly. If the other books get the audiobook treatment I'm buying day one.

I listen to a lot of audiobooks on the train to work and this one made me miss my stop twice. The narration is bold — you can tell JFK enjoys performing his own story. He brings a natural energy to it that keeps you locked in. The sci-fi elements that might seem crazy on paper actually land really well in audio because his delivery sells it completely. Easy to access through the app after purchase, no issues there. Four stars because there were a couple of quiet moments where I had to turn up the volume, but overall a really engaging listen.

When the action kicks in his delivery speeds up and gets intense — same way the writing works on the page apparently. Marion discovering her boyfriend is an alien machine sounds even more brutal when you hear it. Awesome experience.
