The Feeder — Audiobook (Book One)

Genuinely confused why JFK Løvlien isn't a household name yet. The Feeder is better than half the thrillers sitting on bestseller lists right now and the audiobook version elevates it even further. His voice has this natural authority — deep, steady, Norwegian accent adding something unique to the delivery. You believe every word because he sounds like he believes every word. The story is insane — assassins, secret organisations, the Amazon, a billionaire dynasty held together by violence and loyalty. It's big, bold, and completely original. Found this through the website and the whole Feeder Series universe he's built is impressive. Five stars. Tell your friends.

That is by FAR, the craziest shit I have ever heard. I finished The Feeder at like midnight, sat there in the dark for a minute, and then pressed play from the beginning. There's so much going on that the second listen hits completely different — you pick up on things you missed, little details that JFK planted early on that only make sense later. His narration style is perfect for this kind of layered storytelling. Cool and controlled one moment, then savage the next. The cabal scenes gave me actual goosebumps listening on headphones. If you're on the fence just buy it. You won't regret it.

I should warn you this is not a gentle book. There are scenes that made me uncomfortable and scenes that made my heart race and sometimes both at the same time. JFK narrates with a confidence that makes even the most extreme moments feel deliberate rather than gratuitous. Joanna Martin's introduction in audio is magnetic — you understand immediately why John Martin would burn the world down for her. The jungle sequences are almost hallucinatory when you're listening with headphones at night. Four stars because I think certain passages could benefit from a slightly slower pace, but that's a small thing. Already listening to Alien AI.

I've listened to a lot of audiobooks and most characters blur together after a while. Not John Martin. This bloke is something else entirely. Wealthiest man in the world, neck deep in conspiracies, morally questionable at best, and somehow you're completely on his side. JFK's voice brings him to life in a way that reading probably can't match. There's a scene where Martin walks into a room full of people who want him dead and the calm in JFK's delivery is chilling. You just know something terrible is about to happen and it does. Brilliant. BookFunnel delivery worked perfectly on my phone.

I usually listen to podcasts and memoirs so this was new territory for me. A friend recommended JFK Løvlien and I thought why not. The Feeder is intense. There's a scene involving a ritual in the jungle that genuinely made me pause and take a breath. The narration is bold and unapologetic — he doesn't soften anything. The sex scenes, the violence, the power games — it's all delivered with total commitment. Four stars because I'm still deciding how I feel about some of the darker content, but I can't deny it kept me listening until 2am on a work night. That says everything really.
