It's my birthday. I'm 51. And the way I'm celebrating is the way I celebrate most good days, by writing.

A glimpse into Nirvana Nights
The 90s.
A bass player. A Gold Rickenbacker. A name he hasn't yet learned the weight of. This is Leif Martin, son of John Martin, and Nirvana Nights belongs to him.
The decade in this book is not the decade of nostalgia reels. It moves between cities you've heard of and rooms you haven't. Private terraces. Studios that don't advertise. Villas without road signs. A tour that looks like a tour from the outside, and something else entirely from the inside.
This one is going to be completely off the wall. Pretty spooky in places. And, as always with this series, wrapped in power, and Luxe Noir. There's a thriller underneath all of it. There's a mystery. I'm not going to say a word about either one here.
What I will say is this: small pieces of this book are pulled from my own life. A few rooms I walked through in my twenties. A few people I met. A handful of strange evenings you only really understand years later. Names changed, edges sharpened, but the texture is mine.
